Award winning courier company, City Link, has been decorated
with yet another accolade, this time acknowledging its
best practice approach to change management.
The team at
City Link received the 'International Sales Change
Management Award' at the National Sales Awards this
month in recognition of the City Link Strategic Sales
team's success during a period of significant change for
the company which included the centralisation of the
sales function and the company's franchise buy-back.
Strategy & Marketing Director Kriss Cocomazzi said: "The
National Sales Awards programme recognises best practice
in the professional sales industry and we were up
against some fierce competition. The award shows the
priority we have given to improving our strategic sales
activity and becoming more customer focused during a
period of significant change."

In 2006 the premium next-day delivery
company was awarded the prestigious title of 'UK Courier
Company 2007' in an independent review of the industry
conducted by the Institute of Transport Management.
This is City Link's first award since joining with
Target Express to form the UK's premier express delivery
company specialising in next-day deliveries across the
UK and Ireland as well as international deliveries to
over 200 countries worldwide.

City Link, the premium next-day delivery company has
been awarded the prestigious title of 'UK Courier
Company 2007' in an independent review of the industry
conducted by the Institute of Transport Management.
This is a major boost for the company which only last
month announced that it would be joining with Target
Express to form the UK's premier express delivery
company specialising in next-day deliveries across the
UK and Ireland as well as international deliveries to
over 200 countries worldwide. They will together hold
15% of the express parcel delivery market.

City Link, on behalf of Marie Curie, is coordinating the distribution and delivery of
over 4000 thousand Mini Pots of Care to schools and groups around the UK free of charge.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is giving Key Stage 1 and 2 children the chance to get their
hands dirty by planting and growing their own daffodils with its national schools
