Carriage of dangerous goods
City Link, like many other carriers, is unable to carry dangerous goods unless they are
classified as "Limited Quantity" (LQ) as identified in the current transport legislation.
Dangerous goods present safety issues in the transportation system, and therefore the right
labels should be used when sending dangerous goods through City Link. Below are some examples
of labels that City Link accepts:

It is the policy of City Link not to carry any Dangerous Goods internationally or by aircraft. It is the policy of City Link not to carry any Dangerous Goods internationally or by aircraft.
City Link will only carry Dangerous Goods in limited quantities either by road or sea.
Dangerous Goods that travel by ferry or any sea crossing to United Kingdom offshore destinations, including Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, The Channel Islands, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and The Scottish Islands require the following documentation:
- A consignment note including a description of the goods
- A signed "Dangerous Goods Declaration". Click here to see an example
- A Limited Quantity Diamond label containing the correct UN Number preceded by the letters "UN" must be attached to the package
- Any other labels required by the regulations applicable during transit
Dangerous Goods sent throughout the UK mainland (i.e. England, Scotland and Wales) require the following documentation:
- A consignment note including a description of the goods
- Goods must be labeled as Limited Quantities
